Mimi also acts as the volunteer coordinator for ALA.
Prior to joining ALA, Mimi worked for a personal injury and construction defect defense firm. She handled all pre-trial aspects of her cases, including regular court appearances, taking and defending depositions, and attending mediations and arbitrations.
Mimi graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law; she received two Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Communications with a minor in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis. While in law school, she clerked at Gap, Inc. in the Commercial Real Estate Law Department handling real estate transactions and externed at a civil litigation law firm in San Jose.
Mimi is deeply committed to community service. She currently serves as the Secretary of the Vietnamese American Roundtable (VAR) and the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California (VABANC). She received the VABANC Scholarship in 2011 to pursue a career in public interest.
