Stop the Hate Coalition

Our coalition aims to foster healthy and safe neighborhoods throughout California. By meeting communities where they are, in the languages they speak, and with culturally-relevant resources they trust, the Stop the Hate partner organizations help make the Bay Area safe.

Partner Organizations

  • AACI

    Founded in 1973, AACI (Asian Americans for Community Involvement) serves individuals and families with cultural humility, sensitivity, and respect, advocating for and seving the marginalized and ethnic communities in Santa Clara County. AACI’s mission is to strengthen the resilience and hope of their diverse community members by improving their health and well-being. AACI’s services include their Health Center (Primary Care and Dental), Wellness Department Programs (including those that address Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking, Senior Wellness and Nutrition, and Youth Leadership), Advocacy and Civic Engagement, and Behavioral Health programs across the lifespan that specialize in the unique needs of immigrant and refugee families.

  • CWA

    The Santa Clara Cambodian Women’s Association (CWA) is a non-profit organization based in San Jose, CA, dedicated to supporting Cambodian women and families through education, charitable work, and cultural preservation. They provide resources for domestic violence victims, job searches, and community education to foster a safe environment.

  • KACS

    The mission of the Korean American Community Services (KACS) is to improve the quality of life for all Korean-Americans in Santa Clara County, with a focus on those who are vulnerable including seniors and low-income individuals. KACS accomplishes this mission by increasing access to existing community resources and providing opportunities for community involvement and civic engagement.

  • LEAD Filipino

    LEAD Filipino is a national nonprofit organization focused on advancing the civic engagement, health equity, and grassroots action of Filipina/x/o and broader AAPI communities. They create systems and provide programs that combine art, culture and power building to support their community in building civic pipelines, political knowledge, and economic development initiatives.

  • OneEast Palo Alto

    OEPA’s mission is to develop resilient leaders, broker resources and services, build the capacity of individuals and organizations, and advocate for change, leading to the improved social, physical, spiritual, educational and economic well-being of East Palo Alto (EPA), CA.

  • PACC

    Pakistani American Culture (PAC)’s mission is to promote Pakistani culture and serve the community. They are dedicated to preserving their cultural heritage and bridging the gap between Pakistan and the Pakistani’s in the Bay Area through events, lectures, presentations and classes throughout the year.

  • VAR

    Vietnamese American Roundtable envisions a strong and unified Vietnamese American community that works towards improving our quality of life for all and focuses their mission to organize, advocate, and educate their community. They accomplish this through mobilization, advocacy, and education-mobilization through events and coalition building, advocacy through empowering and strategy, and education through panels, workshops and cultural events.

  • VIVO

    VIVO’s missions are to empower refugees, immigrants, and low-income ethnic families among the underserved communities, to beocme productive participating citizens, to benefit themselves, their families and their communities through providing comprehensive Community Cultural, Educational, Health Promotional and Social Services.

Programs

  • VIVO Stop AAPI Hatred

    VIVO supports the AAPI community through hate crime prevention, victim advocacy, safety education, and community outreach. We provide resources for reporting bias incidents, accessing emergency and mental health support, and building awareness against racism and violence. Through education, bystander intervention training, and partnerships with local leaders, VIVO promotes unity, protection, resiliency, and justice for individuals, families, businesses, and communities impacted by hate crimes.

  • VAR Roundtable

    The Vietnamese American Roundtable hosted the second ever Vietnamese American Community Empowerment Symposium on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Also known as the “Roundtable,” this conversational event was meant to bring together community members, leaders, and organizations to foster dialogue, build connections, and strengthen empowerment within the Vietnamese American Community in Silicon Valley.

  • VAR SEEDS

    Student Engagement and Education for Development and Success (SEEDS) is a summer youth program designed to train and grow future community leaders who can address community issues through hands-on programming experience. Participants will work to create sustainable solutions to challenges such as discrimination and anti-AAPI hate, developing essential advocacy skills along the way.

  • KACS Stop AAPI Hate

    The Korean American Community Services of Silicon Valley (KACSSV), works to combat anti-Asian hate through community education, advocacy, safety awareness, and culturally responsive support services. KACSSV provides multilingual programs that empower Asian American and immigrant communities with resources, legal guidance, civic engagement opportunities, and “Know Your Rights” education.

  • LEAD Stop Asian Hate

    LEAD Filipino’s Stop Asian Hate Initiative combats anti-Asian discrimination through community education, bystander intervention training, advocacy, and culturally responsive support services. The program empowers AANHPI communities by promoting safety, healing, awareness, and solidarity through workshops, outreach, and community partnerships.

  • ALA Stop the Hate

    The Asian Law Alliance works to combat anti-Asian racism through hate crime reporting support, community education, legal advocacy, and culturally responsive outreach programs. The organization provides hate crime bystander intervention trainings, “Know Your Rights” workshops, and public education initiatives that empower communities to recognize, prevent, and respond to anti-Asian hate and discrimination. ALA also connects victims and community members with multilingual legal resources, reporting tools, and community-based support services to promote safety, solidarity, and justice.
