SPEAK UP! With Asian Law Alliance and The Fred T. Korematsu Institute

ALA’s Executive Director, Richard Konda, was on the “SPEAK UP!” panel with Karen Korematsu of the Fred T. Korematsu Institute, Zahra Billoo of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Teresa Castellanos, Board vice-president San Jose Unified School District, and Susan Hayase, San Jose Nikkei Resisters.

As active members of the San Jose community, this panel discussed what “Speaking Up!” means for students and citizens in today’s world at the Wesley United Methodist Church in San Jose’s Japantown.

This panel enacted the motto of the “SPEAK UP!” movement by “changing lives one conversation at a time”.
